... About the role:
The Systems Engineering Lead within EOS Defence Systems plays a critical role in Engineering Architecture and Analysis capability enabling EOS to deliver to business objectives, contributing to EOS’ competitive advantage, and fostering future growth.
The Architecture and Analysis team evolves the remote weapon system architectural design by analysing the system from a number of viewpoints to address stakeholder concerns including, but not limited to, safety, security, manufacturability, supportability and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a systems engineering team ensuring timely delivery, staff professional development and continual capability growth.
- Identify and assess system design risks, authorised as the Product Risk Acceptor for LOW risks.
- Ensure that systems engineering work is completed to defined quality standards, including effective information and configuration management.
- Develop and review systems engineering models and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Over 10 years systems engineering experience with mission-critical and safety-critical systems.
- Over 3 years’ experience leading teams and/or managing stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Defence regulatory frameworks and associated processes is desirable.
- Model-Based Systems engineering knowledge, preferably including Enterprise Architect, is highly desirable.
- Eligible for charted status and registration in the ACT.
This is a full time permanent position where due to the nature of the role there is the requirement for you to work from the office Monday - Friday.
Australian citizenship is essential in order to be eligible for Defence clearances!
