We are seeking a highly organised Supply Chain Administrator to join our clients team. This role is the engine room of their operations, ensuring that goods move seamlessly from suppliers to our warehouse and beyond. If you navigate SAP with ease we want to hear from you.
The Role
As our Supply Chain Administrator, you will manage the end-to-end administrative lifecycle of our products. You will assist in being a primary point of contact for international forwarders and domestic suppliers, ensuring that "on time and in full" isn't just a goal, but a reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Import/Export Coordination: Manage shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and smooth transit.
- Forwarder Liaison: Work closely with freight forwarders to track shipments, resolve delays, and optimise shipping schedules.
- Purchasing Support: Process purchase orders and maintain strong relationships with our supplier base to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Data Integrity: Utilise SAP to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports.
- Quality Control: Maintain an attention to detail to catch discrepancies in shipping manifests or invoices before they become problems.
What You Bring to the Table
- Logistics Expertise: Proven experience handling Export/Import processes and the associated paperwork.
- Systems Savvy: Proficiency in SAP is essential. You should be comfortable pulling reports and managing data within the ERP environment.
- Purchasing Knowledge: Experience working with suppliers and understanding the procurement lifecycle.
- Communication Skills: The ability to negotiate with forwarders and professionally follow up with suppliers.
