Randstad is actively seeking experienced Supervisors to manage Field contractors for complex remediation work on a significant infrastructure project. This is a critical, temporary role with a strong possibility of extension, and we aim to expedite the hiring process for qualified candidates.

- Shift: Standard working hours, 38 hours per week.
- Salary: $45-50/hr + Super + car & laptop.
- Location: Gold Coast/Brisbane South/North, Sunshine Coast, Northern NSW or FNQ (3 positions available). Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing field crews engaged in complex remediation tasks within the NBN project. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of electrical and telecommunications infrastructure work, adhering strictly to all compliance and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Crew Leadership and Supervision: Plan, supervise, prioritize, and manage the completion of all routine and non-routine high-risk maintenance and/or construction work.
- Compliance and Quality Management: Ensure all work meets quality, environmental, safety, security, and regulatory standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Project and Resource Management: Control the day-to-day use of resources and supervise small projects through to completion, including risk and contractor management.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise and negotiate with clients regarding the nature and scheduling of their work. Manage stakeholder relationships and keep customers informed of progress.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and provide quality reports to project managers and clients on progress against costs, schedule, risks, and issues.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must possess the legal right to work in Australia. (Evidence required upon application)
- A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
- NBN qualifications enabling essential skills.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in managing contractors.
- Demonstrated experience working on NBN projects.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in NBN O&S works, including Unify Simplex and Complex works.
- Experience with companies such as Service Stream or PSA is advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and crew management abilities.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, safety, security, and regulatory standards.
- Effective project and resource management capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in maintaining accurate records within a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
