Your day will be fast-paced and varied. Because we are a small crew, you’ll be involved in every stage of the branch's daily operations:
...Inwards Goods & Data Entry: Taking the lead on deliveries and learning our in-house computer system to accurately receive, record, and track incoming stock.
Order Picking: Efficiently picking industrial and safety supplies for our Northern Tasmanian client base.
Trade Customer Service: Providing a professional experience at the collection counter, helping local tradies and businesses get the gear they need.
Local Deliveries: Occasionally jumping in the company vehicle for urgent local drop-offs or stock transfers.
Team Support: Working closely with the branch manager to keep the showroom stocked and orders moving.
The Ability to Learn: Trade or welding knowledge is NOT essential. We are happy to train the right person who has a sharp mind and a willingness to learn our product range.
Computer Literacy: You are comfortable using technology and can quickly learn a specialized in-house system for stock management.
Licensing: You must hold a valid Driver’s Licence.
Forklift Ticket: A current LF Forklift Licence is highly desirable but not necessarily a deal-breaker for the right candidate.
Reliability: You are a dependable Launceston local who shows up on time and ready to work.
Physical Fitness: Comfortable with manual handling, heavy lifting, and staying active throughout the day.
Consistent Casual Full-Time: Benefit from a full-time roster with the added flexibility and loading of a casual position.
Full Training Provided: We will teach you the systems and the products—you just need to bring the right attitude.
