In this pivotal position, you will support a major ERP transformation program, driving the delivery of multiple high-value, complex RFPs. You will play a critical role in procuring a SAP S/4HANA system integrator, a quality assurance partner, and a business transformation partner.
Reporting to the Manager of Technology Sourcing, you will work across the full procurement lifecycle. You will partner closely with program teams, business stakeholders, external consultants, and internal contract establishment teams to deliver robust commercial outcomes aligned with key program objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of sourcing activities for key ERP program work packages.
Develop and lead the procurement strategy and commercial approach for complex RFx processes, providing expert guidance on bid release, evaluation, and recommendations.
Develop robust sourcing strategies, commercial models, and evaluation frameworks.
Partner collaboratively with program, legal, and contracts teams to define requirements and proactively manage risk.
Support complex commercial negotiations, including pricing, SLAs, delivery models, and contractual terms.
Assist with contract establishment and ongoing vendor management activities.
Ensure strong governance, probity, and compliance are maintained across all procurement activities.
About You To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive, highly organised, and outcomes-focused professional with strong attention to detail and a governance mindset. You will ideally possess:
Proven experience delivering end-to-end procurement, specifically managing complex RFPs.
Experience working on large-scale transformation programs (ERP or SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable).
Strong commercial acumen and proven contract negotiation capabilities.
A track record of successfully engaging with system integrators, consulting firms, and managed service providers.
The ability to manage multiple concurrent sourcing activities within a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
Note: Public sector or regulated procurement experience, and familiarity with structured/agile procurement methodologies will be highly regarded.
