About your new role
The Information Specialists is responsible for delivering services related to information access, privacy, information sharing, and data breaches. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure organizational compliance with relevant legislation, specifically the Freedom of Information Act 1992 and the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024
What you will need to exceed
... - Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in delivering services under the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
- A solid understanding of the principles and requirements outlined in the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are critical, as the candidate must provide clear, practical advice to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to successfully interpret legislation and apply it to daily operational matters.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
