Are you a seasoned Solution Architect with a passion for driving digital transformation? A leading global institution within the Education industry is seeking a visionary architect to lead the design and delivery of critical enterprise-wide initiatives.
In this continuing, full-time role, you will be a pivotal member of the Architecture & Solutions team, responsible for crafting comprehensive end-to-end solutions—from initial conceptualisation to detailed designs.
The Role
As a Lead Architect, you will provide specialised guidance to ensure our technology ecosystem remains proactive and leading-edge. You will work extensively across high-impact programmes including Digital Preservation, Identity Management, and the evolution of Salesforce-centric enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
... Design Leadership: Lead the architectural design for the Salesforce Education Cloud programme and Digital Preservation initiatives.
Artefact Development: Develop and maintain high-quality architectural artefacts, including logical and physical solution designs, patterns, and standards.
Governance: Act as a voting member of the Architecture Working Group, reviewing designs across Cloud, Data, AI, and Infrastructure domains.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and technical teams to align architectural frameworks with long-term strategic objectives.
Technical Expertise & Experince:
Experience: Over five years of experience developing application solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.
Salesforce Mastery: Core Salesforce skills are essential, with the ability to design solutions for a broad range of Tier 2 applications.
Architectural Depth: Proven ability to operate at varying levels of detail, from high-level component architecture to low-level detailed designs.
Specialised Knowledge: A strong understanding of data architecture, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
Desired Background: Experience with Digital Preservation solutions is highly preferred.
Education: An undergraduate degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Location: Based at the City campus, with the potential to work across multiple locations.
