The Company
We have partnered with a leading Adelaide-based Tier 3 Construction Company that holds an enviable reputation in the local market. Built on a foundation of delivering high-quality projects seamlessly on time and within budget, they boast an impressive track record of repeat client business.
What truly sets them apart is their culture. They don't just talk about work-life balance and staff development—they live it. Viewing their team as their greatest asset, they offer genuine pathways for career progression and enjoy industry-leading staff retention rates.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, solutions-driven Site Manager to lead diverse projects across the commercial, education, health, industrial, and residential sectors.
In this role, you will be the driving force on-site. You are a natural leader who is highly conversant with Australian building codes, standards, and modern construction methodologies. You thrive on solving complex structural problems, managing site conflict with diplomacy, and pushing for collective project success.
Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership: Drive and manage site teams and subcontractors across a diverse project pipeline (ranging from boutique builds up to major projects valued at $20M).
Delivery & Quality: Oversee all construction phases to ensure work meets strict quality benchmarks, strict timelines, and budget constraints.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary on-site point of contact, seamlessly liaising with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and suppliers.
HSEQ Safety First: Establish and maintain a zero-harm site culture, managing all risk assessments, safe work method statements (SWMS), and compliance requirements.
What You Bring
Proven Track Record: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Manager within the commercial building and construction industry.
Diverse Exposure: Recent experience delivering commercial projects valued at $10M+, ideally across health, education, or industrial sectors.
Technical Expertise: Exceptional knowledge of building methodologies, sequencing, and structural codes.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or a related structural discipline) is highly regarded, though equivalent trade-qualified experience is welcome.
Why Apply?
If you are tired of the rigid, high-burnout structures of standard commercial tier roles and want to join a collaborative, supportive business that respects your time both on and off-site, this is the move for you.
