The Role: Leading from the Front
As the Morning Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our cold room logistics. This means:
Direct Supervision: Leading and mentoring a small team of logistics operatives.
Workflow Management: Planning, coordinating, and delegating daily tasks (picking, packing, loading) to ensure on-time dispatch.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all team members strictly adhere to cold room safety protocols and quality standards.
Performance Tracking: Monitoring team productivity and providing coaching and feedback.
Problem-Solving: Quickly resolving operational issues (inventory discrepancies, equipment faults) to minimize delays.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Proven Experience: Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role, ideally within a logistics, warehouse, or distribution setting.
Cold Room Readiness: Comfort working for extended periods in a chilled and/or freezer environment (appropriate gear will be provided!).
Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and motivational skills to drive team performance.
Early Bird: Reliability and a strong commitment to the early morning shift schedule.
Safety Mindset: A dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
