Our client is a premier Australian manufacturer of high-tech industrial spray booths and automotive curing systems. They are looking for a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their Dandenong South facility. This is a role where you’ll see a product through from a flat sheet to a complex, engineered system.
The Role
Precision Fabrication: Setting up and operating CNC press brakes to fold components for large-scale industrial cabins and ventilation systems.
Custom Work: Working with a variety of materials, including galvanised steel and aluminum, to create custom-tailored solutions.
Quality First: Checking angles and tolerances to ensure every panel fits perfectly for final assembly.
Technical Interpretation: Reading complex engineering drawings for high-performance machinery.
Hours & Pay
Type: Temp to Perm Role
Pay: $40 p/h + Super + Overtime available.
Hours: Monday 8am-2.30pm, Tuesday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm
What You Need
You take pride in the "Australian-made" badge and understand that precision is non-negotiable for high-end machinery.
Experience: 2+ years of CNC press brake operation (Amada, Trumpf, or similar).
Skills: Strong ability to calculate bend deductions and handle large-format sheet metal.
Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to quality—ensuring parts meet strict Australian standards.
Qualifications: Trade qualification (Sheet Metal/Fabrication) is highly regarded.
