Responsibilities:

• Provision of technical advice across the full technical stack from database through to UI
• Architecture design and software engineering from inception to implementation
• Delivery of system updates to existing systems based on existing backlogs
• Development and delivery of improvements to existing science data pipelines and design and development of emerging science data pipelines

Skills required:

• Experience architecting and refactoring complex applications across web and desktop.
• Experience working in the spatial industry/working with spatial systems and data.
• Experience working with python, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
• Experience in delivering applications in a cloud setting, specifically AWS.
• Knowledge of and experience with version control and associated processes.
