Senior Quality Engineer
Melbourne CBD (Hybrid – 727 Collins St)
6-month contract | Up to $700/day (AUD)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a major enterprise program supporting the West Gate Tunnel Project and key Workday-related initiatives. This is a hands-on testing role focused on automation, release support, and hypercare activities across critical systems.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and uplifting automated test frameworks, supporting production releases, and ensuring quality outcomes across enterprise platforms. The role operates in a hybrid model with no on-call, overtime, or travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hypercare support and incident management for the West Gate Tunnel Project
Maintain and execute Selenium automated test scripts for Workday 2026 R1 releases
Uplift and execute Selenium automation
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure test coverage, quality assurance, and release readiness
Track defects and testing progress using Jira and CI/CD tooling
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Selenium automation
Proven use of GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira
Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in complex enterprise environments
Preferred Experience
Workday testing
HCM system testing
Finance system testing
Certifications (Highly Regarded)
ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL)
ISTQB Test Automation (TA)
