The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives, ensuring outcomes are delivered safely, compliantly, and at pace. Beyond traditional delivery, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Consumer Finance projects, ensuring new capabilities—particularly those powered by AI and automation—are introduced responsibly to deliver genuine customer and business value.
You will be a cultural anchor for our South Side Brisbane Tech Hub, leading a vibrant environment of junior PMs and engineers by example, bringing the energy and drive necessary to thrive in a high-growth, modern setting.
What You’ll Do
Dynamic Delivery: Own scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality for complex initiatives, translating high-level business strategy into actionable delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
Navigate Disruption: Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, architects, data specialists, and vendors) through continuous shifts in technology stacks and "Ways of Working" (WoW).
Adaptive Risk Management: Move beyond "checkbox" governance. You will use lateral thinking to manage risks where traditional guardrails may not yet exist, ensuring safe delivery in an evolving AI-driven landscape.
AI & Automation Champion: Proactively identify where AI can optimize delivery efficiency or customer value, while managing the change impacts on team skills and customer experience.
Lead from the Front: Act as a mentor and coach within the South Side Brisbane hub, uplifting delivery maturity and sharing modern delivery practices to help the broader team grow.

Resilience Amidst Change: A track record of helping teams remain productive and focused despite constant shifts in tools, tech stacks, and methodologies.

Strategic Governance: Strong financial management and vendor oversight, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and delivery partners authentically.
