Senior Project Engineer
Location: Melbourne OR Perth Based
Are you ready to elevate your career? I am looking for a talented Senior Project Engineer for a full service Engineering Firm with a strong client list and project pipeline across Australia. Work on exciting project design and manage projects for tier 1 clients such as Rio, BHP, etc across AUS and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer you will:
- Management and ownership of multi-discipline design projects.
- Progress tracking, planning and scheduling.
- Scoping and proposal development.
- Facilitate and participate in design reviews.
- Support and collaborate with highly skilled designers and engineers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements.
- Prepare technical engineering documents as part of overall project engineering deliverables.
- Visits to client sites as required
Experience:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- 7+ years of multidisciplinary Project experience.
- Exposure to Materials handling related design projects, in both the Greenfields and Brownfields space.
- Design and engineering knowledge within the materials handling industry.
- Experience across a range of commodities, including gold, copper, lithium and iron ore, is favourable
- Mechanical engineering design experience desirable.
- Excellent organisational, communication, teamwork and time management skills.
- Technical aptitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box.
