Senior Procurement Consultant

Due to increasing demand for their ICT procurement services, they are seeking an exceptional Senior Consultant to join their established offices in Melbourne.
The Position
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, leading workstreams and delivering high-quality, sustainable outcomes. You will leverage your expertise in procurement and supply chain with a keen focus on the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector.
- Lead high-impact project workstreams.
- Apply deep expertise in procurement, supply chain, and IT commercial strategy.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the firm's intellectual property.
- Focus on delivering value across areas like IT Operations, Commercial Strategy, and Technology Transformation.
What You'll Bring
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate, analytical, and commercially astute. Your expertise will cover several of the following areas:
- Technology and Commercial Strategy
- Software, Hardware, Telecommunications and IT Services
- IT Outsourced Managed Services
Your Profile:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Commerce, Science, and/or Engineering.
- At least 4 years’ of experience, ideally within professional services or consulting.
- Good commercial acumen and strong exposure to different ICT Categories.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in identifying anomalies and digging into data (advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential; Power BI experience is highly regarded).
- Ability to explain complex theories and relate to people at all levels of a business.
- Excellent team skills with the ability to lead and/or take direction effectively.
- A good facilitator who can develop a clear, compelling storyline for clients.
- Legally eligible to work full time in Australia.
