This will be an initial 3 month contract with rolling 6 month extension available to the right candidaite.
Responsibilities
Design & Documentation: Prepare designs and create comprehensive construction documentation.
Quality Assurance: Conduct technical reviews to align projects with client expectations and ensure adherence to building and landscape procedures.
Project Administration: Handle cost estimation and contract administration.
Compliance: Ensure expertise in and compliance with building and landscape statutory requirements.
Collaboration & Communication: Maintain effective communication as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Design Review: Critically appraise architectural works or submissions.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Qualification: A degree in Landscape Architecture eligible for Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) membership.
Technical Acumen: Strong skills in pre-design research and preparing functional briefs.
Building Codes: Deep understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
Skills: Expertise in building and landscape procedures and statutory requirements.
Communication: Effective communication skills for multidisciplinary team environments.
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
