We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain our client enterprise technology environment. You will be responsible for the full breadth of infrastructure operations from Windows servers and Active Directory through to desktop management and disaster recovery with the added capability of managing workloads and services running in AWS Cloud as part of the overall environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows Server and IIS environments, ensuring stability, security and optimised performance
Manage Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, including identity governance, group policies and access controls
Oversee the Microsoft ecosystem including Office 365, Azure and endpoint management platforms, ensuring high availability
Manage enterprise desktop environments and mobility solutions, keeping end-user technology secure, efficient and reliable
Maintain and manage infrastructure workloads hosted in AWS as part of day-to-day operations
Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and business continuity
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the infrastructure environment, minimising business disruption
Maintain documentation for systems, configurations and processes
Experience & Skills Required
Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Extensive experience across the Microsoft ecosystem, Office 365 and endpoint management
Experience managing enterprise desktop and mobility environments (Intune, SCCM, or equivalent)
Solid background in backup and disaster recovery technologies and frameworks
Prior AWS experience comfortable managing and operating cloud hosted infrastructure within AWS as part of a broader infrastructure role
Strong troubleshooting ability across complex, multi-system environments
Good communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders
Desirable
AWS certifications at any level
Microsoft certifications (MCSE, Azure Administrator, or equivalent)
ITIL framework exposure
Scripting skills in PowerShell or similar
Engagement Options:
Contract: Daily / Hourly rates (PAYG or Pty Ltd).

Max-Term Contract : Competitive annual salary + 12% Super and accrued annual leaves.
