Seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager with 15+ years experience to lead high-profile projects across the Southern Region (VIC/SA/TAS). This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure specifically within the renewables and wind sectors from award through to successful completion.
Your strategic impact
- Manage the design and construction of large-scale renewable assets, including wind farm turbine foundations, substations, and overhead transmission lines.
- Robust Commercial Management: Take full ownership of contract administration, including the negotiation and finalisation of major subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Financial Performance: Oversee the preparation of accurate cost forecasts, valuations, and budget performance tracking to ensure project profitability.
- Multilevel Team Guidance: Provide technical support and leadership to site supervisors, foremen, and construction engineers to foster a high-performance, solutions-focused culture.
- HSEQ Advocacy: Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring all activities comply with electrical safety legislation and project-specific quality standards.
- Stakeholder Diplomacy: Maintain strong, proactive communication with clients, consultants, and authorities to manage expectations regarding scope and risk.
What you bring
- Background in electrical project management, specifically within large-scale contracting and civil infrastructure.
- Proven experience delivering renewable (wind/ solar farm) or infrastructure and associated electrical works.
- Expert-level skills in managing variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and complex subcontractor statements.
- Leadership versatility, the ability to communicate effectively across all project phases, from technical design resolution to site-based delivery.
- Willingness to travel within the Southern Region and interstate as required to support project milestones.
