As a key member of the Electrical Group, you will play an important role in delivering some of Tasmania’s most prominent and exciting developments. You will work across a diverse portfolio, including health, education, tourism, custodial, and government commercial sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design & Documentation: Leading the design for electrical power, lighting, IT communications, security, and dry fire systems.
• Full Project Lifecycle: Taking ownership of projects from initial feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction phase administration.
• Collaborative Delivery: Working within a multidisciplinary environment to ensure seamless project integration.
• Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, project managers, government authorities, and private developers.

About you

You are a technically proficient engineer with a strong work ethic and a passion for the Tasmanian built environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer, specifically within a building services consultancy environment.
• Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience as an Electrical Designer.
• Technical Knowledge: A comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of Australian design standards and building codes.
