Job Title: Senior Consultant, VMS

Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Consultant to join a leading financial institution and drive a critical, large-scale enterprise transformation. The successful candidate will spearhead the implementation of a new Vendor Management System (VMS), designed to overhaul manual, fragmented processes and significantly uplift risk management and commercial benefits. This high-impact program structure requires coordinated planning and streamlined governance across three primary streams: Technology, Contingent Labour, and Fixed Price/SoW Sourcing. You will play a pivotal role in managing interconnected activities, supporting change functions, and driving consistent progress toward a modernized future-state design.
Key Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
7+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects to successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Extensive experience managing change management programmes within highly complex, regulated environments.
Proficiency in diverse delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and standard project management tools.
Strong capabilities in capturing business requirements (current and future state) and transposing them into clear process flows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven professional relationship management and negotiation capabilities.
A strong achievement focus and resilience, with the ability to prioritize a high volume of complex activities.
Tertiary qualifications are preferred, alongside relevant procurement accreditations, certificates, or industry memberships.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead sprints, assign tasks, monitor progress, and maintain an accurate project schedule while ensuring teams have the resources to succeed.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Manage stakeholder expectations with a clear focus on outcomes, providing weekly updates and collaborating closely with internal development teams and external vendors.
Execution & Delivery: Oversee the execution of project activities, managing interdependencies to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and achieve established milestone dates.
Risk & Documentation: Identify project risks and issues, implement robust mitigation strategies, and maintain up-to-date documentation compliant with the project framework.
