Senior Business Analyst | $170k package inc. super | Permanent | Melbourne's Western Suburbs | Hybrid 2 days on-site
This is a senior-level BA opportunity within the Digital and Campus Services division of a well-established education institution in Melbourne's western suburbs. You'll work across BAU programs and projects, bridging business needs and technology solutions to drive meaningful operational improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Leading end-to-end business analysis across concurrent BAU programs and projects
- Running requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution scoping across cross-functional teams
- Creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and leading backlog refinement with product owners and delivery teams
- Advising senior stakeholders on requirements feasibility, solution options, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Producing high-quality documentation including BRDs, process maps, use cases, and training materials
- Planning and coordinating UAT and delivering training for system changes
- Championing BA best practice and contributing to frameworks, templates, and standards
- Mentoring and uplifting junior analysts within the team
- Supporting change management, communications, and training strategies to drive successful adoption
What we're looking for
- Experience with TechnologyOne, ServiceNow, or Oracle
- Background in higher education or tertiary environments
- Significant experience in business analysis including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and business case development
- Strong Agile and hybrid delivery experience, with the ability to lead BA workstreams in fast-paced environments
- Advanced stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting and influencing at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deliver to deadlines
- Sound understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, and data governance principles
- Desirable: CBAP or equivalent BA certification
