The Senior Adviser will be responsible for overseeing the resolution of complex matters using a range of informal and formal dispute resolution tools.

Key responsibilities include

• Applying expert knowledge to manage complex complaints involving both consumer and disciplinary matters.

• Resolving disputes using various ADR methods, including informal conciliation, formal mediation, and face-to-face discussions.

• Preparing high-standard professional determinations, reports, and recommendations on complex issues.

• Providing specialist guidance to lawyers on registrations, practising certificates, and trust account handling.

• Mentoring staff and providing technical guidance to ensure high standards of performance.

• Leading continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  

What you will need to exceed

• Dispute Management Expertise: Substantial experience in a dispute or complaint management environment.

• Legislative Interpretation: A high level of understanding regarding how to interpret and apply legislation.

• Communication Skills: High-quality written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce reports and briefs under tight deadlines.
