The Opportunity
Are you a Project Controls expert ready to work on a $5.75 billion infrastructure legacy? We are looking for a Senior Advisor (Project Controls) to join the Rail Infrastructure Delivery Office (RIDO).
You will be embedded in the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project, a critical initiative that will unlock the SEQ rail network ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is your chance to manage complex work packages including station relocations, rail systems, and advanced signalling.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost & Budget Control: Lead budget creation, change management, estimation, and forecasting.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct Earned Value Management (EVM) and generate forecast curves to track physical completion.
- Contractor Oversight: Review and analyse major contractor progress to ensure accountability.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide critical path and trend analyses to Project Directors to mitigate risks.
- Governance: Manage project expenses and commitment flow records in alignment with TMR guidelines.
Your Profile
To be successful in this AO6-level role, you will bring:
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in project costing, analysis, and reporting.
- Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel for budget variance analysis and graphical presentations.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven capability in monitoring project schedules for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to adapt your style for senior leadership forums.
