We are seeking a Brisbane-based Finance Specialist to join a high-performing team, initially focusing on supporting a legacy SAP ECC system while preparing for future large-scale projects. This role offers the perfect blend of Business-As-Usual (BAU) support and project involvement, providing a clear path for professional development and a high likelihood of contract extensions.
What You Will Do:
Develop and define comprehensive functional solutions that ensure systems remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business strategies.
Contribute to the technical design of new platforms and features, leveraging hands-on SAP experience to deliver specific functional requirements.
Work closely with business leaders and product owners to capture requirements and translate pain points into viable technical solutions.
Maintain high-quality documentation for solution architectures and system components to ensure clarity for all project and operational stakeholders.
Support the operational readiness and BAU support model, identifying performance bottlenecks to optimize system reliability and scalability.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Minimum of 3–4 years of functional experience within SAP FICO modules, with a strong understanding of legacy SAP ECC systems.
Proven ability to design and implement technical solutions while adhering to governance standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside technical teams and stakeholders in a mid-tier, generalist capacity.
Experience in full life-cycle implementation or system support, focusing on both functional and non-functional requirements.
Specific experience with Central Finance or the Tagetik system is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
