We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Developer to join a high-performing, hybrid delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and building the vital connective tissue between SAP S/4HANA and external ecosystems. You will combine deep ABAP expertise with modern integration strategies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance business solutions for a major government-facing project.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Build: Translate high-level integration strategies into detailed technical specifications and robust ABAP objects.
- Complex Interface Development: Engineer sophisticated inbound and outbound interfaces for S/4HANA environments, ensuring seamless data flow across the enterprise.
- Full-Stack Integration: Design and implement end-to-end integration scenarios involving SAP PI/PO, Data Services, and RESTful/SOAP web services.
- Fiori & Modern UX: Lead the development of S/4HANA Fiori applications, ensuring a modern and intuitive user experience.
- Lifecycle Collaboration: Work closely with design and testing cohorts to perform technical troubleshooting, defect resolution, and performance tuning of integration objects.
- Standards & Strategy: Ensure all development aligns with established integration patterns, XML schemas, and WSDL standards.
- Knowledge Sharing: Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring peers and sharing technical insights across the broader SAP community.
Technical Expertise & Experience
- SAP Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated SAP development experience, including at least two full-cycle implementations in a senior capacity.
- ABAP & Integration: Mastery of ABAP, including BAPIs, ALE/IDoc administration, and Web Services.
- Modern Services: Proven experience producing and consuming REST and SOAP services, with a strong grasp of ESR Objects.
- Data Connectivity: Demonstrable skill in integrating with SAP PI/PO and SAP Data Services.
- HANA Fundamentals: Functional knowledge of HANA development and basic system administration.
- Governance Excellence: Experience working within large-scale project teams characterised by complex business rules and rigorous documentation standards.
Mandatory Security Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Mandatory Clearance: Current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
- Highly Regarded: Active NV1 Clearance is preferred.
