Are you a senior nursing professional looking for a diverse role that combines frontline clinical care with high-level leadership? We are seeking a Registered Nurse / Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our clinical team in a hybrid capacity.
The Role
- Clinical Leadership (CNS): Provide mentoring and clinical supervision to RNs and care staff.
- Frontline Nursing (RN): Deliver high-quality, nurse-initiated care and treatment to residents.
- Operational Management: Step into the Facility Manager position and take charge of the site in their absence.
- Clinical Oversight: Manage comprehensive care planning, clinical assessments, and medication management systems.
- Quality & Education: Lead internal audits, identify staff learning needs, and assist with clinical indicator data analysis.
Compensation & Blended Salary Structure
- RN Shift Rates:
- 3rd Year: $50.59
- 4th Year: $53.33
- 5th Year: $56.19
- CNS Shift Rates: Range: $58.00 – $59.74 per hour (depending on experience).
- Note: Open to negotiation for the right candidate.
Relocation & Settling Support
- Accommodation: Temporary shared accommodation may be available in an adjacent property.
- Relocation Funding: Applicants are encouraged to apply for the Rural LAP program, which offers government support and relocation funding.
- Community Integration: Successful candidates will be connected with the Welcome Experience to assist with finding long-term housing and building local connections.
Essential Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse Division 1 (NSW) registration.
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience (Aged Care preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and staff supervision.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Act 2024.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Satisfactory Federal Police Record Check and required vaccinations.
