Your key responsibilities will include:
Taking responsibility as the Nurse In-Charge of the shift.
Managing clinical escalations, patient admissions, and discharges.
Providing mentorship and clear direction to ENs and Care Staff.
Liaising with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), allied health, and families.
Ensuring compliance with WHS and clinical governance standards.
To be successful in this role, you must be a confident decision-maker who stays calm under pressure. We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong leadership potential and clinical reliability.
Essential Requirements:
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
Minimum of 4–5 years of postgraduate clinical experience (Strict requirement).
Proven experience in a Shift Leader / In-Charge capacity.
Ability to commence employment immediately.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
