Randstad South Australia is inviting a sales-focused professional to transition into a Technical Consultant role within our market-leading Engineering team. You won’t be starting from scratch — you will take ownership of an established Power, Energy & Renewables desk with 25 years of local legacy and a global reputation. Key Responsibilities:
To succeed, you will leverage your sales background across these key pillars:
Acquisition and Client Management: Identify and develop new business opportunities by speaking the language of the energy sector. You will build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical pain points to provide strategic workforce solutions.
Recruitment and Candidate Management: Manage the end-to-end "sales" lifecycle of talent—from sourcing and screening top-tier technical professionals to closing the deal at the offer process. You will act as a trusted career advisor to the people who build the grid.
Administration and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide data-driven insights. You’ll use our systems to manage your pipeline and provide valuable reports on market trends to your clients.
Requirements
We are looking for a diligent, proactive professional with a passion for the energy industry who meets the following:
3+ years of professional experience: Ideally in white-collar recruitment consulting or a high-level technical sales/consulting role where you have managed complex client lifecycles.
Sector Intelligence: Knowledge of Engineering, Construction, or related technical sectors.
Technical Literacy: Strong numeracy and IT skills to navigate our global recruitment platforms.
Mobility: A clean and valid driver’s license.
Status: Full working rights in Australia.
