This isn’t your average "sit and wait" reception role. We operate in a fast-paced, industrial environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be the heartbeat of our front office, balancing a warm welcome for visitors with the technical precision of order processing.
The Day-to-Day
... - Front of House: Greet walk-in clients and contractors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Communication Hub: Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails, resolving customer queries with efficiency and a "can-do" attitude.
- Order Processing: Accurately enter and manage customer orders, ensuring our production team has the data they need to keep things moving.
- Administrative Support: Act as the right-hand to the Office Manager, assisting with everything from filing and data entry to ad-hoc project support.
- Office Flow: Maintain a tidy front-of-office environment and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
What You’ll Bring
- The Vibe: A positive, resilient personality. You thrive in busy environments and don’t get flustered when three things happen at once.
- The Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication. You can pivot from a friendly chat at the front desk to a professional email in seconds.
- The Tech: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or order-entry software (preferred).
- The Experience: Previous experience in a reception, admin, or customer service role—ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- The Detail: A sharp eye for accuracy. When it comes to order processing, you believe in "measure twice, cut once."
