We are looking for a capable project professional for a 12-month temporary assignment with our client, commencing late July. This role provides critical administrative and operational support to the Technology PMO, assisting with the coordination of governance frameworks, tool optimisation, and general project administration. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, offering a hybrid working agreement.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Technology PMO, ensuring alignment with internal company policies.
- Developing and maintaining standardised project templates, including risk and action registers, to support consistent project delivery.
- Assisting Technology Managers with navigating PMO governance and tracking requirements.
- Updating and maintaining project portfolios and tracking dashboards to ensure clear visibility over active timelines.
- Collaborating with technical operations teams to help optimise and streamline the project management tools in use.
- Assisting with the coordination and automation of routine weekly and monthly project status reporting.
- Supporting Senior Project Managers with general project administration and tracking to enable a focus on key delivery milestones.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience working within a PMO environment as a Project Coordinator, Project Support Officer, or in a similar project administration capacity.
- Prior experience working within a Technology PMO or a similarly regulated industry environment is highly desirable.
- A strong foundational project management skillset backed by a sound understanding of business support functions.
- Prior exposure to working alongside technical development or operations teams to assist with the rollout and execution of systems.
- Familiarity with project tracking and work management software platforms.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing administrative and tracking priorities.
- A proactive yet adaptable professional who takes direction well and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
