Reporting to the Lead Projects, you will draw on your proficient leadership and technical capabilities to plan, manage, and execute assigned projects and engineering work requests at site. Working with Our Client, you will join a highly collaborative team, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve elite business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead the planning, safe execution, and commissioning of approved Modifications and Small Projects (<$20M).
Capital Planning: Support 2 & 5-year capital portfolio planning through assessment validation and corporate alignment.
Contractor Leadership: Manage owner's team contractors to deliver multi-discipline annual capital programs in accordance with project frameworks.
Technical Execution: Undertake design, specification, costing, and scoping for plant/equipment modifications and infrastructure projects.
Safety & Risk: Actively investigate safety and cost initiatives; lead construction and commissioning while managing relevant risks.
About You: You are a resilient, autonomous professional with a strong ability to influence stakeholders. Your technical competency in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering is matched by your drive for results in a mining environment.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil background highly advantageous).
Strong experience in project development and front-end loading.
Mandatory Certifications: S11 Induction & Medical, QLD Coal Supervisor course (S1, S2, S3), and RIIRIS402D (G2).
Proven ability to manage workgroups and contractors safely and effectively.
