About your new role
The Project Manager is a pivotal role, responsible for leading the strategic planning, diligent execution, and ultimate delivery of medium-scale projects. Success in this position requires effectively managing resources and stakeholders to ensure these projects integrate seamlessly with and contribute to, the overall programs of works across the Division.
What you will need to exceed
... - Serve as the financial custodian, meticulously forecasting budgets, controlling expenditures, and managing variations to ensure fiscal integrity across all projects.
- Own the full delivery cycle for medium-scale projects, guaranteeing they meet safety, quality, scope, and budget benchmarks.
- Proactively identify and neutralise threats by developing and executing a robust Risk Management Plan (RMP), ensuring seamless project momentum.
- Ensure every project adheres to the highest levels of quality, safety, and environmental governance, and embody the leadership behaviors that define our organisational culture.
- Act as the critical link between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex engineering solutions into clear, commercially viable decisions.
Must have
- A relevant tertiary qualification in project management is required, or you must demonstrate equivalent experience managing programs or multiple projects.
Desirable
- Experience in working for government
