The Project
An exciting opportunity now exists for a driven Project Manager to lead a $4M early works package for the expansion of an existing hospital’s antenatal unit.
This project sits within a live healthcare environment and involves a technically complex internal fit-out. You will manage fabrication challenges, health compliance, and the coordination of specialist services, including:
Medical gases
Radiation shielding
Infection control
The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute and decisive leader. You should have 4–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager for a recognized Australian commercial head contractor, with a proven track record of delivering projects exceeding $2M.

Project Portfolio Exposure
You will gain experience across a broad range of sectors and contract types:

GC21 contracts.
Extensions into adjoining tenancies.
Cold shell and select warm shell fit-outs.
Key Responsibilities
Project Controls: Programme preparation, forecasting, budget control, and financial reporting.
Technical Management: Design management coordination and BCA compliance.
Site Operations: Site establishment, inspections, testing, and OH&S management.
Stakeholder Management: Managing subcontractors and client relations within live environments.
Delivery: Ensuring projects are completed on time and within contract parameters.
What You’ll Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Experience: 4–5 years of tertiary project management experience (full lifecycle).
Skills: Advanced financial acumen, design management capability, and Procore proficiency.
Mindset: A calm, positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to lead under pressure.
