The Opportunity

Our private client is seeking a professional and driven Project Manager to lead the fit-out and refurbishment of their Adelaide-based office. With the design phase nearing completion by a premier architecture firm, we are ready to move into the tender and construction phase.

This project covers two levels (~850m² and ~350m²) and will house a team of ~70. Your mission is to transform this space into a high-functioning, modern environment while ensuring minimal operational downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Tender: Manage the upcoming subcontractor tender process and provide expert recommendations for selection.

• Site Oversight: Supervise the construction phase starting in March, ensuring the 3–6 month timeline is met.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the private client, the architectural firm, and the onsite contractors.

• Budget & Quality Control: Track project costs, variations, and ensure the final finish meets the high standards of a reputable design.

• Safety & Logistics: Manage the logistics of working in an occupied building and ensure all WHS standards are strictly adhered to.

About You

• Proven Experience: You have a solid track record in commercial office fit-outs or high-end refurbishments.

• Communication: You are polished and capable of managing the expectations of a private client and their executive team.

• Technical Savvy: Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and manage complex subcontractor schedules.

• Adelaide Based: You have a strong network of local subcontractors and understand the Adelaide market.
