Randstad is proud to partner with a leading Australian university to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver major capital construction and refurbishment projects valued up to $10- $20m.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end project delivery—from initial business cases and stakeholder engagement through to design, construction and post-implementation review. You’ll work with senior stakeholders, lead change initiatives, manage budgets and procurement processes, and ensure projects align with strategic objectives and master planning requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale construction, infrastructure and refurbishment projects from conception to completion
- Manage timelines, budgets, procurement, contracts and risk
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and chair PCG meetings
- Provide expert advice on complex project issues and drive best-practice outcomes
- Oversee project documentation, reporting and change management activities
About You
- Qualifications in construction management (postgraduate preferred) or extensive equivalent experience
- Proven track record delivering large, complex capital works projects
- Strong knowledge of BCA, OHS and sustainable design requirements
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills
- Highly developed planning, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in project management software
