Project Manager – Capital Works (Building & Civil)
Victorian Based Council Client

Our Victorian based council client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver building, civil and selected open space capital works projects from planning and design through to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of capital works projects (minor upgrades to major builds)

• Develop project briefs, designs, cost estimates and tender documentation

• Manage procurement, tendering and full contract administration

• Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure delivery on time and within budget

• Monitor financial performance, risks, compliance and OH&S

• Prepare reports, manage variations and provide technical advice

About You

• Proven experience delivering building and/or civil infrastructure projects

• Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant legislation

• Experience with tendering, contract management and budgeting

• Understanding of local government processes (desirable)

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS Office
