Program Analyst - EOS Defence Systems

About the role:
... The Program Analyst plays a key role in ensuring compliance with PMO governance and supports project managers through data-driven insights, standardised reporting, and process improvement. This role is critical for enabling efficient program execution and improving overall performance within EOS Defence Systems Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- PMO Governance & Standards
- Data Analysis & Insights
- Risk & Issue Oversight
- Project Manager Enablement - with PMO Manager, Design and maintain templates, tools, and guidelines to streamline planning, execution, and reporting
- Reporting & Dashboards - develop and maintain accurate reporting
- Schedule Management: - review and validate project schedules for accuracy, logic, and compliance with PMO standards
- PMO Governance - create and maintain frameworks and policies across PMO in accordance with business requirements
- PMO maturity - contribute to the development of best practices and lessons learned
Key Attributes:
- Strong understanding of PMO governance, project management methodologies (i.e., PMBOK, PRINCE2)
- Advances data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)
- Experience in schedule management and integration using tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence process improvements
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning tools (i.e., Epicor, Netsuite, SAP, or similar tools)
- Experience in Analytics, or related field
- Certification in project management or PMO frameworks (i.e., PMP, PRINCE2, PMO Practitioner)
- Hands-on experience in schedule management, reporting, and dashboard creating
- Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives and process standardisation
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and performance metrics
This is a full time permanent position where due to the nature of the role there is the requirement for you to work from the office Monday - Friday.
Australian citizenship is essential in order to be eligible for Defence clearances!
