Key Responsibilities
- Managing a substantial spend encompassing medical prosthesis, consumables and equipment.
- Leading supply contract negotiation, actively managing vendor relationships and immediate renewals.
- Acting as a key SME in the setup, user testing, and rollout of the new Workday ERP (Workday experience not required).
- Overseeing the end-to-end logistics, directing operations at the main Keswick warehouse and ensuring all hospitals’ supply requirements are met.
- Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and acting as the customer-focused face of procurement.
- Writing, amending, and continuously improving procurement policies tailored to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Managing and leading an existing operational team spanning warehousing, administration, and customer service.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience in a complex procurement, supply chain, and commercial management role, involving high-volume physical goods/consumables.
- Demonstrated capability in contract transition and supplier relationship management, particularly in volatile, off-boarding, or fast-transitioning environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the capability and confidence to negotiate with vendors and consult closely with clinical/medical professionals.
- Experience managing and leading small teams.
- Previous hands-on exposure to ERP implementations, with Workday ERP experience being highly regarded.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel flexibly between the Keswick headquarters and the hospital sites.
