Your new role will involve:
- Manage procurement & contracts management activities to support capital delivery
- Assisting with the tendering and bid evaluation processes, giving careful consideration to pricing models and contingencies
- Contract formation and administration
- Negotiations and dispute resolution
- Supplier relationship management, monitoring progress, key milestones and navigating commercial and performance issues
- Identify areas for improvement including risk mitigation strategies and long term spend reduction
What you will need to apply:
- 10+ years experience in procurement in heavy industry, resources, energy or similar in capital projects
- Proven ability to successfully manage all stages of the procurement and contracting lifecycle on a project basis
- Contemporary procurement mindset to work in this growing organisation - ability to achieve commercial outcomes while ensuring high levels of delivery
