The Role
The .NET developer provides level 3 technical support services within the Aged Care Production Support section. Undertake .NET product development, test activities in response to incident and defects raised for the Aged Care Gateway platform. .NET Developer (ACAS) specialists are required to work across CRM and integration related tasks accordingly.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Undertake .Net product development, test activities in response to incident and defects raised for the Aged Care Gateway platform.
- .NET web development uses C# (with knowledge of VB.net), Asp.net MVC 4/5 and Asp.net WebForms,
- Knowledge of latest javascript libraries and javascript UI frameworks, AJAX, JQuery, CSS, HTML 4/5 as required;
- Apply the latest .NET frameworks (also .net core) and in-depth knowledge of generics, LINQ; *Develop and consume services using WCF (soap/xml) and Restful (Rest/json); *Applied use of ORM productivity tools to access databases as necessary;
- Use common development patterns like factories, interfaces, repositories and dependency injection for development work;
- Apply Mock Frameworks;
- Have an understanding of database design, build, package and release experience relevant to .Net build practices;
- Contribute to critical P1 defect triage and resolution;
- Periodically review logs and call out high frequency or critical errors for remediation *Escalate critical or blocked defects to the Major Incident and Defect Lead to ensure continued throughput of incident and defect fixes;
- Provide inputs to defect/incident reporting the Service and Incident Manager in a timely manner; and
- Use defect/incident management toolsets (e.g. Agile Lifecycle Manager, Cherwell)
