About your new role
The Principal Investigator will conduct complex, high-quality, and timely workplace investigations into allegations of employee misconduct across this government entity. provide authoritative and expert advice to senior management on misconduct matters, including preparing technical briefs and options for decision-making.
What you will need to exceed
- Deep understanding of workplace investigations, industrial relations and employment law.
- Proficiency in the end-to-end process, including preparing documentation, conducting investigative interviews, and gathering evidence.
- Ability to ensure all processes meet industry best practices and legislative requirements.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate sensitive and highly complex issues.
- Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external peers and senior managers to influence culture and resolve issues.
- Capacity to provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development to Senior Investigators and other team members.
Must have
- Victorian Driver's Licence and a willingness to travel across Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
