About your new role
The Principal Governance Officer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of strategic planning, performance, and risk management frameworks to ensure alignment with legislative requirements and ISO standards. This multifaceted role involves providing high-quality expert advice to executive management, researching and preparing complex reports, and overseeing critical business governance activities such as internal audits, legal matters, and Right to Information (RTI) processes.

... - You must have a proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships while effectively communicating, negotiating, and influencing at all levels of government.
- Strong skills in researching and preparing complex reports, submissions, and briefs for senior management and committees are essential.
- Practical experience in managing business governance activities such as internal audits, legal matters, and Right to Information (RTI) is required.
- You need the ability to achieve results in demanding and ambiguous environments, taking personal responsibility for objectives with minimal supervision.
- You should be capable of organising resources and building team capability while consistently modeling ethical and respectful behavior
