This organization has established significant SESA teams across Australia, particularly in Queensland, and aims to replicate that success in the NSW market.
The Role:
- Establish, grow, and lead the NSW SESA capability, including people, systems, and delivery frameworks.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, through effective client engagement, bid leadership and exceptional delivery.
- Strategically grow the business across multiple market sectors, with an emphasis on rail.
- Collaborate with other NSW and inter-state business units to expand the wider business.
- Manage and capitalize on existing relationships while identifying new opportunities to grow market share.
The Person:
- Enterprise-level experience in developing and converting a pipeline of work.
- Strong client and professional relationships to leverage.
- A strategic thinker who can identify opportunities and align capability with market demand.
- Experience across multiple sectors, including rail, defense, road, and transport.
- Deep knowledge of systems and safety engineering, with an understanding of relevant standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, EN 5012X, MIL-STD-882X, or equivalent.
- A collaborative leader who can work autonomously, is target-driven, and outcome-focused.
- Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
