About your new role
The Policy Analyst will be primarily focused on developing and implementing a data strategy and establishing data governance aligned with Indigenous Data Sovereignty (IDS) principles. The key challenge for the policy analyst will be keeping up-to-date with policy developments in the state and national arenaand maintaining in-depth knowledge of analysis, modelling, research and evaluation methodologies within a human services context
What you will need to exceed
- Demonstrated expertise in conceiving, rolling out, and maintaining regulatory frameworks, policies, and standards for robust data governance.
- Possess profound knowledge of cutting-edge research, evaluation, and modelling methodologies, leveraging these skills to drive measurable service improvements within complex human services environments.
- A understanding of how the Aboriginal political and historical environment has shaped policy evolution regarding land rights and other key issues across NSW and Australia.
- Exceptional track record of securing stakeholder commitment, proactively mitigating disputes, and developing research-backed negotiation strategies to achieve shared, mutually beneficial results.
- Proficient in crafting compelling and fluent content in plain English for broad audiences, specifically adept at simplifying and conveying highly technical or complex information with precision and clarity.
