... We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager who can establish and oversee project governance, standards, and best practices across complex defence programs. This role ensures that all projects align with strategic objectives, comply with regulatory and contractual requirements, and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
About the role:
In this role you will play a pivotal role in EOS’ success by establishing and maintaining the PMO framework by developing and enforcing project management standards, methodologies, and governance across all programs. You will provide portfolio oversight by monitoring and reporting on the performance of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with defence regulations with robust risk management practices and contractual adherence and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish PMO Governance by defining and maintaining project management standards, process, and reporting frameworks across all programs
- Oversee the planning, prioritisation and execution of multiple defence projects to ensure strategic alignment
- Ensure all projects adhere to defence regulations, security protocols, and contractual obligations
- Track project health, budgets, schedules, and risks; provide accurate reporting to senior leadership
- Act as a central point of contact for internal teams, clients, and externals partners, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Mentor and train project managers, building a strong project management culture
- Drive process enhancements and lessons learned to improve delivery efficiency and consistency
- Support cost management, forecasting, and budget adherence across the portfolio
- Assist leadership in long-term planning and decision-making for defence programs
Experience
- Proven experience managing PMO functions or large-scale project portfolios in defence, aerospace, technology, or highly regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) and governance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments and high-value programs
- Expertise in compliance, risk management, and security requirements specific to defence projects
- Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, or Engineering; PMP or equivalent certification highly desirable
