... The Role
In this role, you will be the backbone of the People team, providing high-quality administrative coordination to ensure people practices remain consistent and compliant with workplace legislation and internal policies. You will support the Director in managing employee relations matters while maintaining the integrity of critical workforce records.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Employee Relations Support: Assisting with the documentation, scheduling, and record-keeping for sensitive ER cases and matters.
Records & Compliance: Maintaining confidential employee files and ensuring all documentation meets legislative requirements and internal governance standards.
Systems Administration: Managing data entry for HRIS and learning platforms (e.g., LearnHub) to ensure data integrity and support reliable reporting for the organisation.
Workforce Coordination: Preparing contracts, updating policies, and scheduling internal development programs or knowledge-sharing sessions.
Team Support: Coordinating meetings, formatting documents, and maintaining the People Group SharePoint site, including managing document control and permissions.

Strong Administrative Foundations: Proven experience in document handling, data entry, and meeting deadlines within a professional or government environment.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS or document management platforms like SharePoint.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to maintaining accuracy in sensitive records, document formatting, and compliance-related activities.
Communication Skills: The ability to liaise professionally across various teams and handle sensitive information with absolute discretion and confidentiality.
HR Knowledge: Familiarity with HR processes, legislative obligations, and the administration of people policies, particularly in areas of governance and ER.
