Randstad is pleased to once again be partnering with our client who are a high profile, ASX-Listed business and household name who are seeking a Payroll Reconciliations & Reporting Specialist to join their payroll team on a full-time and permanent basis in this newly created role.

About the role:
Reporting into the Payroll Manager your key duties will include:
- Own the end-to-end reconciliation of all payroll-related general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of variances
- Prepare and distribute detailed payroll reports
- Support the Manager with month-end and year-end payroll processes including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliation sign-offs
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant tax regulations, legislative changes, and internal controls (e.g. superannuation, PAYG/tax reporting, leave liabilities)
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to maintain integrity and proactively identify data inconsistencies or errors
- Collaborate closely with the wider Payroll and Finance teams to streamline data flows and improve reporting efficiency
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding payroll financial data and reporting
- Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for all reconciliation and reporting procedures
About you:
You are either a highly experienced payroll professional with a solid background in payroll reconciliations and reporting or a Senior Payroll Officer with knowledge and exposure to payroll accounting principles. Additionally, you have:
- 5+ years experience in payroll
- Experience in a high volume payroll team
- Experience using a large system (SAP, Chris21/iChris, Aurion, etc.)
- Solid experience with reconciliations
- Background or degree in accounting (desirable, however not essential)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Full and unlimited working rights
