The role

Reporting directly to the Company Accountant, you will ensure our team is paid accurately and on time, every time. This role is perfect for a finance professional who enjoys a mix of payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general office administration within a supportive, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll: Oversee and process weekly payroll, maintain employee entitlement records, and manage superannuation.

• Compliance: Interpret industrial awards and registered agreements to ensure all payments meet statutory requirements.

• Financial Support: Manage staff purchases, reconcile credit cards, process petty cash, and assist with accounts payable tasks.

• Contract Administration: Prepare employment contracts and maintain both paper and electronic employee records. Occasional front desk cover (minimal)

• Corporate Billing: Raise monthly invoices for corporate wage recovery and rental property costs.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience: 2 + years in a payroll and accounts role

• Tech Savvy: High level of competence in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Efficiency: The ability to work under pressure, meet strict bank cut-off times, and prioritize your workload effectively.

• Detail-Oriented: A commitment to accuracy in data entry and statutory reporting.
