About the role: Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality payroll services. Your duties will include:
- Execute day-to-day payroll activities, including overpayments, termination calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
- Process off-cycle and ad hoc payments while maintaining strict data integrity across all people systems
- Utilise and optimise multiple platforms
- Ensure all practices meet legal standards by staying current with policy and legislative changes
About you: You are a service-focused professional who acts with integrity and thrives in a collaborative, high-volume environment. In addition, you have:
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, ideally within high-volume environments
- Experience using a large payroll system (eg. SAP, iChris, Aurion, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and experience interpreting complex Enterprise Agreements (EAs)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and meet performance KPIs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
