About the role: You will be primarily responsible for accurate and timely data entry to support the end-to-end payroll process. Your duties will include:
- Accurately enter employee details, time and attendance records, and payroll adjustments into payroll systems
- Validate data for completeness and accuracy to support the preparation of payroll runs
- Ensure all data entry complies with company policies, employment agreements, and legislative requirements
- Assist in generating reports for compliance and audit purposes while meeting statutory reporting deadlines
- Respond to basic employee enquiries regarding payroll data and processes in a professional manner
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity regarding payroll data
About you: You are a detail-oriented individual with a high level of accuracy in data entry and a commitment to maintaining data integrity. In addition, you have:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- An understanding of payroll processes and Australian compliance requirements
- Experience with a large payroll system
- Effective communication skills
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
